Deliciously Cheesy and full of garlic flavor, this cheesy garlic bread is sure to be a family favorite recipe! It is simple and fairly inexpensive to make.
Best Garlic Bread
My family likes a good loaf of homemade garlic bread on our spaghetti nights. I like the ease of the premade loaves of garlic bread but feel they lack in taste and freshness. If you love garlic bread try our pizza bombs and English muffin pizzas.
So when making this garlic cheese bread for the photos, I forgot to add the garlic! Imagine my surprise when taking the first bite, and it was missing. I sprinkled on a little garlic powder and all was good.
Cheese Garlic Bread Recipe
Ingredients
Loaf of French Bread
1/2 Cup Butter
4 Cloves Garlic Chopped
1 Tbsp Parsley
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
1 Cup Mazzerala Cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Using a bread knife cut slits into your French bread every inch. Cut almost to the bottom, but do not cut through the bread. Place the loaf of bread on a baking sheet covered with a large piece of tinfoil (big enough piece to wrap around the bread later).
Place butter in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave until melted. Add garlic, parsley, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to the butter and mix.
Using a basting brush add the butter mixture in between each of the bread wedges. Wrap the bread in tinfoil so it is completely covered. Place on the middle rack of your oven and cook for 15 minutes. Unwrap the tinfoil and add the mozzarella cheese in between the wedges of bread. Cook an additional 5 minutes. Place your cheesy garlic bread on a pretty plater (I love this one), pull apart, and enjoy!
